The Music Conservatory of Westchester (MCW) supports students with an interest in musical education through a variety of programs. To encourage students from all socioeconomic backgrounds to participate in its programs, the conservatory offers several scholarship opportunities.
MCW divides its scholarship programs into multiple categories. Youth scholarships target students who are 18 years old or younger. Depending on the student’s household income and family size, scholarship awards are granted based on a sliding scale.
Adult scholarships are established by the Mary L. Bianco and Robert Heath Adult Scholarship Fund. This scholarship award is given to students who are older than 18 years of age. The tuition discounts can reach up to 25 percent.
The Music Therapy Institute scholarships are issued to youth and adult students with disabilities. In addition, the Healing Our Heroes scholarships entirely cover tuition for military veterans part in the music therapy program.
